Kustbandet may be a Swedish band, but they capture the authentic sound of American 20's hot bands. With American singer
Carol Leigh and trumpet work reminiscient of Louie Armstrong, this CD should be appreciated by all 20's fans. A 20's version
of Stardust, a wonderfully sung version of Money Blues and Hoosier Sweetheart are among my personal favorites. Top notch.

I was new to swing, jazz about 4 years ago, and started to listen all jazz. I got a bit bored of it, so much. These guys can
bring back my enjoyement, so good they are. If i did not know they are swedish, i could not find any differnece from an all
native american swing band. All the little tricks and traits are all there. The upbeat and the slower tracks are top notch.
The singer and all the soloists are outstanding. Check out their webpage, they should have been more popular. I recommend
this album to everyone, new or old to swing. Happy listening.
