This band was very popular Swing(?) band. They even won awards for Best Swing Band, Best Live Show and Best Dressed Band in 1998. And I'm asking myself why. Where the hell is swing? Ok, maybe in their clothes. This album is more punk and more ska than anything else.

Let me preface this review by saying Hipster Daddy-O is one of the coolest people ever. Ever. Anyway, "Diesel" is amazing. It has crazy lyrics, guitar, and others.

Play it loud and you'll be there.The hottest club,the hottest night,the girls scream and shout,Geno takes no prisoners and the boys in the band play high speed rhythm and blues.Fantastic.Highly recommended.

First of all, you need to know I'm picky as heck. I look at swing discs to dance to... not just listen. This one has one of the best selections of tracks of any Swing compilations out there, but still misses the mark at collecting a rack of songs that work together to maintain a tempo that is consistantly danceable. Best I've seen, put you can probably mix a better disc/tape using a couple of discs like this. Good for your collection, but not great on its own.

this c.d. has all my favorite swing/jive bands from the best know to even one of our favorite Austin, Tx swing groups- The Lucky Strikes. Hard not to want to dance to every song.
