I was a member of his church from the age of 5 until his death. Therefore, I have heard most of these songs LIVE! I am proud to say that his music will live on forever. It is sad that he was not inducted in the Gospel Hall of Fame until 4 years after his passing. Buy it...you'll love it.

A Family Favorite

Rev. Cleophus Robinson has always been a family favorite in our household. I only wish that my children could have the experience of seeing him in action. He is a true artist and preacher. He style spirit-filled and is sure to rock souls, both young and old. So America did not give him the fame he desired but God has given us a second. Check out his sons Shadrach and Cleophus Jr... the legend lives on.

Wrapped Up, Tied Up, Tangled Up is one of the greatest gospel albums of all times! Each song is soul stirring. This poor boy from Mississippi sings from his spirit and his voice is beautiful. I grew up listening to records (45s and 33s) of his that my mother owns and I feel blessed to have found this CD at Amazon.com

EVEN DOUGH RECONILED BY MANY LOVERS OF GOSPEL MUSIC, REV. ROBINSON STILL DO NOT GET THE CREDIT HE TRULY HAS EARNED AS ONE OF THE MOST EYE OPENING EXCITING GOSPEL SINGERS OF ALL TIMES. I HAVE PROBABLY CLOSE TO OVER 35 OR 4O DIFFERENT RECORDINGS OF THIS GREAT PREACHER AND SINGER AND ON NONE OF THE TRACKS AM I DISAPPOINTED. THE CD 'WRAPPED UP TIED UP AND TANGLE UP' HAS A TRUE FAVOR OF HOW WIDE THE RANGE THIS MAN OF GOD COULD GO IN HIS DELICATION TO THE FIELD OF GOSPEL. I DARE ANY LOVER OF GOSPEL OR THE CASUAL LISTENER TO PLAY ANY OF THIS PREACHER'S CD'S OR TAPES AND YOU TO WILL COME TO REALIZED THERE ARE PRETENDERS AND THERE ARE TRUE GOD GIVEN TALENT AND ABILITY, THE REVEREND CLEOPHUS ROBINSON WILL MAKE YOU A BELIEVER THAT TRULY THERE IS A GOD SOMEWHERE.

This set is good range of love songs through the past thirty years but there is just one problem - the lovers of this kind of music maybe disappointed with the abridged versions of these songs. It is very irritating when a song cuts off when you know there should be more to come. But for those who just want this set for easy listening, it is a good buy.
