Rise and Shine Music

A great compilation of songs that range from a remake of "Walking On Sunshine" to a very cute "Pop Goes The Weasel" version. Each song is unique, well-sung, fun and creative. Enjoyable to still listen to even when your 2 year old asks for it a million times a day! The voices of the singers are far from annoyingly too-cute voices of some generic children's CD's we've had before. Highly recommended!

I fell in love with Raffi's music when my oldest child was a newborn. That was eleven years ago. All three of my children have listened to him over the years and they're just crazy about songs like "Baby Beluga," "Apples and Bananas," and more. He has such a great connection with children. I am amazed at how well Raffi can calm my son. Whenever he starts to fuss in the car, I put the cd in and jump to the second track and my son immediately stops crying. We had this with our first two kids and it got misplaced so we recently purchased another copy for our third. The kids love it and so do we. We sing some of the songs on a regular basis as a family. This is a must have cd for good kids/family music.

If you want to get your kids interested in music, this is probably the best ways to start. An absolutely fantastic video (or now DVD).

This purchase is to replace the old VHS tape we had. The only gripe is that the quality of the image is 1990's.

I bought this DVD for a young person for Christmas. He was thrilled with it. I love Raffi's easy way with kids. He never speaks down to them. His music is interesting and fun. The DVD is very well done.

Raffi is the type of person who just wants every child in this world to be happy. He delights everyone with his infectious songs and warmth, no matter what the age. I never mind sitting down to watch with my toddlers because I actually LIKE the songs, just as much as they do. We also listen to the CDs which helps them know the words. This was made in the 80s so the audience members have clothes that are a bit dated, but it matters not at all. Your kids will love him. No cartoon images, and no sudden camera movements.

When our God-child was very young his mom purchased this item in the form of a video tape. This young man is now 21 years old. After hearing it I was hooked and have continued to introduce it to many youngsters. This past Christmas season my husband and I gave the DVD to both of our new grandsons. They will surely enjoy the gift that Raffi offers to his audience.
