I really enjoy listening to Wave. I find the sound relaxing and the songs enjoyable. I recently started listening to the famous Getz/Gilberto album and I wanted to pickup albums from some of the other artists featured on it, hence Wave. Good album and I would recommend it to anyone who liked Getz/Gilberto.

The title track, for which I bought the CD, was everything I expected. Unfortunately the rest of the CD was "ho hum". I'm going to donate it to the Public Radio annual CD sale.

Upon receiving this cd and reading the credits and its date of production, I was in complete amazement! This album was recorded in 1967. I was 12 years old, I am now, well let's skip this part. I can only say one thing, this man was a musical composing genius! I will continue to add more Jobim to my musical library. For human beings that appreciate musical art and play an instrument, this is something special and worthwhile to purchase to furthur enhance musical appreciation from all parts of our world! For me as a songwriter, composer this has been an important lesson in expanding my abilities as a writer. His magical ability with major 7th chords and variations and combinations, has furthered my abilities. And of course, including the fact that I love brazilian jazz and samba. This has been extremely beneficial and advanced my composing techniques!

I can't really add much to what has already been written here. This is one of my favorites of all time. Listening to it is like visiting with an old friend. Just makes you feel good.

To describe it as a masterpiece doesn't do it justice.

You must have this work in your collection.
