Listening to our local jazz station (KMHD) in the Portland area, I heard Kaeshammer's West Broadway from the No strings attached
CD and was sold. Full sound and a toe tapping beat, my son and I lingered through several more selections until we heard who
this great musician was. A name I won't forget.
What a Fun Disc!

I heard Michael Kaeshammer in Ontario last year and immediately bought this album. He plays stride piano so fast his hands
are a blur, and his singing is reminiscent of a young Harry Conniff. This fresh, bluesy album stands up to repeated listening
and heralds the debut of a wonderfully-talented German-born artist who calls Vancouver home.

This will be brief... I first heard Fish Today, But Chitlins Next Week in my car on a perfect august night, and I had one
of those experiences that can't and shouldn't be described. Just buy the CD... it doesn't try to reinvent the combo by any
means, it simply does it so well... so fresh... its Fun!! Buy it on a whim and eat it up... its mmm mmm GOOOOOOD.

Michael Kaeshammer is an exciting, inventive, exceptionally talented musician. This awesome CD combines old classics and
new, dynamic tunes. Well-known, excellent musicians like Ben Wolfe (bass) and Kevin Breit (guitar) and the producer Peter
Cardinali join Kaeshammer on this disk. If you love jazz, you should love this CD.
And, if you get a chance to see Kaeshammer's live gig in your area, you won't see a more exciting show. He came to our community recently and everyone's still raving about it.

I heard Michael last night at the Fitton Art Center in Hamilton Ohio. This kid is FANTASTIC, but you need to hear him. He
is a first class entertainer and will wow everyone in the crowd regardless of age.
I could write for pages on Mikes music, or write a thesis on what it is like to hear "Yankee Doodle", hearing is believing. Check this kid out.

I just discovered the music of this exceptionally talented pianist. I have all 3 of his CDs in my changer and I bought a second
copy for my car! I can hardly believe that someone can play the piano as fast and rollicking as he can. His music makes me
laugh and can bring tears to my eyes, the sound is so beautiful. Your toes will tap and if you are driving, set the cruise!
A dynamic, fun performance

I had never heard of this young Canadian pianist until I took a chance and went to his live concert in Maine. What a terrific
show! I immediately bought his first three albums (this is the second album)and recently I bought the fourth. All are good,
though this and the third album, "No Strings Attached," are my favorites. Kaeshammer is a dynamic pianist, whether playing
solo (the first album, "Blue Keys") or in a group. He plays with some fine side men. He loves to play boogie woogie style,
but plays well in other jazz styles too. I like his lively renditions of classics on this album (e.g. Caravan, Sweet Georgia
Brown, Basin Street Blues), but the newer numbers on his more recent albums are great too. This is fun music, and it will
help you get into a good mood. It's some of my favorite cookin' and dishwashin' and cruisin' in the car music!
